Running VBS3Strike
When I click on a menu item, the corresponding window is not visible
- The window is probably appearing in a location that is not on the
screen. Perhaps you ran VBS3Strike in full screen mode last time, but are
running it in windowed mode now. Alternatively you may be using a different
resolution. It is possible that the window you desire is located outside the
visible desktop area. You have three options:
- Maximize the application, drag the window to the desired position and then resize the application to your desired size.
- Go to Window->Make all windows visible. This will fetch any windows displayed outside the visible desktop and bring them to the edge of the visible area.
- Go to Window->Cascade window. This will cascade all relevant windows and should move your desired window into the current view.
- If the last marker is clicked / selected after creating a Battlespace management zone as
shown in image 18a, then an error message may pop up after the Battlespace management zone timer
expires as shown in image 18b: Error Message.

∆ Image 18b Error message
This error can be avoided by deselecting the last marker after creating the fire zone or clicking on some other position in VBS3. - The colors selected for the Battlespace management zones may vary due to the transparency
effect of the Battlespace management zones (the mixture of sky color and the user defined
color) as shown below. This effect can also be seen in AAR Strike projectile Analysis.

- Grids for the Initial, Target & Egress points can be selected by
clicking on any point other than the 'File Menu' in VBS3 2D map. This
includes the land area, sea area and even the objects like the watch or the
compass.

- VBS3Strike Aircraft Control view Black screen (Not Night Mode) may occur
if a user creates a task in VBS3Strike, and then has clicked on the red
color release marker point. When the last aircraft flies through it. Then a
message appears in VBS3 as in image 18f. During which time, if the user then
switches to the Aircraft Control, the view will become black as shown in
below image 18g.

- VBS3Strike windows can be viewed in better quality when the Display settings are set as shown below.

- A Green marker may be created in VBS3 2D view, to
each Strike asset that the user creates. If a user deletes the Radio Logic
Object marker displayed at MGRS ABBR 50006000, then no Radio Message will be
displayed.

- Note: If the PC’s used for AAR recording is
different from PC’s used to run the AAR in network mode VBS3Strike will
through an error message. The image bellows depicts this type of network
configuration.

- If a target is selected within a ‘No Fire Zone’ which is within 21m from the starting point of the fire zone, then the target might be attacked.
- Fuel limit is not specific to a task. It is specific to the entire mission. Therefore if a user switches between different tasks on same mission which had different fuel limits, the GUI will still display the latest fuel limit pertaining to the selected mission
- Bombs may attack the target with a difference of ± 3 seconds. This may change if the attack is done in a terrain with mountains higher than the air platform flying altitude. This can be avoided by using higher flying altitudes
- The user should select the task in ‘Task Groups’ table before ticking the ‘Cleared Hot’ checkbox in ICP to apply Cleared Hot functionality to the exact task.

- Why are the existing Battlespace Management Zones getting cleared from VBS3 when "Call StrikeConnectinProgress" command is recalled after force shutting down the VBS3Strike application?
When user run the VBS3Strike application again all the zones drawn in VBS3 should be deleted after the timers get reconnect. This is done on purposely to avoid any conflicts. - Sometimes weapons release before the release point?
This is because of the aircraft's speed, so then the aircraft shall release the projectile <50m from the release point. - VBS3Strike might display an error message when connecting with VBS3.
∆ Image 18m: Error message
This happens if the observers have not been linked to the VBS3 Observer link. Make sure that all the observers in the scenario are linked to the observer link, since only those observers who are linked to the Observer link (JTACs) are loaded to the ICP. - VBS3Strike might display an error message when connecting with VBS3.
∆ Image 18n: Error message
This message is displayed when an existing object name in the mission is entered. The Aircraft object name should be unique in the mission.
