Using a Joystick (Aircraft Control / Pilot Control)
VBS2Combined Arms Aircraft Control is most realistic when using a joystick or controller. Using a joystick can fly more precisely, and the buttons and controls make it easy to change views and operate other aircraft controls.
VBS2Combined Arms is compatible with Joysticks and controllers supports by Microsoft windows and the direct device standard.
Note:
Use the device that works best for you as your primary control, and customize it to suit your needs. Many products feature different configuration, so refer to your controller’s documentation for its button assignments. Also make sure you have the latest device drivers. If in doubt, download and install them from the manufactures web site.
When you plug in the Joystick, if it is not functioning properly, you may need to calibrate it using the USB Game Controllers. This will avoid situations such as the device is not functioning as expected since the axis has not centered correctly when released and thus constantly pull in one direction.
