Possible scenarios for Pilot control


Scenario 1: Pilot selecting a target

  • Switch to pilot mode
  • Right click on VBS2
  • Create target on map
  • Weapons will be loaded to the pilot from VBS2.
  • New task will be created on Instructors application with a mission if an existing mission is not there
  • Pilot can fire same as the Standalone manual control
  • If the instructor hasn’t “cleared hot” from the instructor control panel a messages will display in Pilot VBS2 side such as "NOT CLEARED HOT"
  • Only the instructors can cleared hot, Otherwise pilot cannot fire.

Scenario 2: Exit from aircraft in pilot control

  • Pilot can exit from the aircraft by clicking "Exit Pilot Mode" button in pilot control panel or press "Escape"
  • Newly created task will be end
  • Instructors Control Panel will display the task in RED color.

Scenario 3: Pilot click END TASK

  • Pilot can click END TASK in VBS2Side
  • Task will be end
  • Instructors Control Panel will display the task in RED color.

Scenario 4: Pilot can switch to pilot mode when having an ongoing task

  • There may be already created task for a particular aircraft which instructor created
  • Pilot can switch into that particular aircraft
  • Automatically the task details will be sent to the pilot VBS2
  • Pilot can fire to that created target or pilot can change the target by right clicking on VBS2.

Scenario 5: while Pilot is in pilot mode the instructor can create mission and a Task for that aircraft

  • instructors can create task for the same aircraft while pilot is in pilot mode on that particular aircraft
  • Pilot receives the mission task details for the Pilot VBS2Side
  • Pilot can fire to that created target or pilot can change the target by right clicking on VBS2.

Note:
Pilot Functionalists are same as Standalone/Instructor mode manual control.
