New Fire Mission

The first step in constructing the fire mission is to start a new mission. To do this, use the main menu and select Fire Mission -> New Fire Mission. This will bring up the first transmission, Observer Callsign and Warning Order. When information has been entered, hit the ‘Transmit’ button and the next transmission window will appear. Alternatively you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + T” to transmit the information. This shortcut works in all the NATO doctrine fire mission windows.

This is the first of three transmissions to request a fire mission. In this transmission, the observer will select a firing unit callsign, the type of mission, size of the firing unit and the method of target location. The observer’s callsign is automatically displayed for this transmission. When complete, click the ‘Transmit’ button.
