Line OT

As well as sending a Locstat, an observer may wish to inform supporting fire assets of the current bearing from the observer to the target (Line OT).  This can be done using the Line OT window which can be accessed from the main menu under Transmit -> Send Line OT.

Note :
For any procedures that the system considers for the OT direction must be taken from either Locstat or Line OT. Initially default Locstat is the observers’ real position. Later user may give a different Locstat value. Then if the user gives a different OT Line, system may have Locstat and OT Line separately but for subsequent corrections or any points that direction is concerned will use the latest value for the Locstat or OT Line. As far as the Geographic View GUI concerned, the virtual line will be based on the latest OT direction (either from Locstat or OT Line) will be displayed. In the case of OT Line consideration, the observers’ real position to the target distance will be considered for the virtual OT Line distance.
