Immediate Suppression / Immediate Smoke

In immediate suppression, the target location needs to be transmitted to commence firing. Whereas in the other ‘Adjust Fire’ & ‘Fire for Effect’ procedures the mission details for target location, third transmission and adjustment windows need to be specified.

Immediate Smoke is very similar to the Immediate Suppression firing procedure. The only difference between them in Immediate Smoke ‘WP’ rounds will be used as ammunition.

The settings for immediate suppression can be changed from ‘Options->Preferences->Immediate Suppression’. These same settings will be used for immediate smoke as well the only difference is the ammunition will be selected as ‘WP’.
