Fire Platform Analysis

VBS2Combined Arms fully simulates the state of all guns and firing platforms. It provides a user interface component, which allows the user to visualise the state of all guns at any time. This feature is available in Instructor and Stand Alone mode.

To activate this window, from the main menu system: Analysis->Fire Platform Analysis.

Using the Gun Analysis component, the user is able to see what actions any gun is carrying out, how far along those actions are (as indicated by the progress bar), what ammunition is currently loaded, and whether the guns are authorised to fire.

The “View” column will display a 3D view of that particular gun in VBS2. The “details” column will open a window with information about that gun (ammunition levels, rounds fired, casualties produced and the gun’s probability for error.
