Damage
The damage file is used to determine the amount of damage rounds of particular types do when fired by the guns of this battery. Within this file, the types of munitions can be defined for any calibre of round. The file will have an entry “-->” followed by ammunition type name. For example:
--> HE
In this example it would indicate that the explosion damage information contained in the subsequent lines is related to a high explosive munition.
Note:
If no entry is found in this file for a given munition type then no damage will occur from that munition type.
There are three types of explosions supported by VBS2Combined Arms.These are:
- Fragmentation (FRAG),
- Radial (RADIAL), and
- Submunition (SUB).
For each of these explosion types a series of parameters can be defined.The explosion types are described in more detail below:
