Creating a VBS2Fires Observer Object

The VBS2Fires Observer Object is made available in VBS2 which would function when linked to a unit or units placed.  The VBS2Fires Observer object is found in the ‘Add Object’ menu in the VBS2 Mission editor. Select this object, and then double click the map to add it. Adding the VBS2Fires Observer object will cause a dialog box to appear within the VBS2 Offline Mission Editor [OME].  This will contain a number of options for the observer. This can be used to specify the observer object.

Note:
If the user decides to use the VBS2Fires Observer Object in a mission, a restriction is made that allows the placement of only one VBS2Fires Observer Object for the mission. However, the user has to also make sure that in VBS2Combined Arms, Preferences > Other > Radio Net, the option ‘Automatic’ is selected. The VBS2Fires Observer Object will only be made active in a mission if this selection is made.
