SimCentric Technologies is proud to announce their SAF-TAC virtual training environment has been procured by the Australian Army as part of the Land Simulation Core 2.0 (LS Core 2.0) Tranche 1 program. Built upon the Unreal Engine commercial gaming platform, and optimised for Virtual Reality and Desktop employment, SAF-TAC utilises the latest in gaming innovation to improve individual and collective proficiencies for military personnel through realistic, intuitive, immersive and easily adaptive training instances.
Working with Applied Virtual Simulation (AVS) as the LS Core 2.0 Tranche 1 prime, SimCentric shall be delivering SAF-TAC licences for use throughout Army simulators as part of the Persistent Land Simulation System to upgrade and unify Army legacy simulation environments. SAF-TAC as part of LS Core 2.0 Tranche 1 shall be available across Army for VR and Desktop based simulators alike, including the ability to incorporate into future ADF programs across a variety of capabilities.
